There was lots of glamour at the 2016 White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Shiny waves were a popular look at the event, but everyone but a different spin on them. Nina Dobrev chose a loose-half up hairstyle complemented by soft makeup.
Nina’s hair was parted on the side then swept back off her face. The look was created by hairstylist Christophe Saluzzo. It looked good from all angles thanks to the megawatt shine.
Her makeup was created by Johny Saade, the other half of Christophe & Johny. Instead of a more expected red pout, Nina wore a soft pink lipstick. Silver shimmery shadow and flirty lashes completed the look.
Nina’s nails were kept simple. She left her silver accessories take center stage and opted for a natural manicure.
Nina’s hair and makeup worked with her black and silver Kaufmanfranco gown. The soft makeup and hair gave the look a slight 1960s twist, but still felt very modern.
