2019 Evening Standard Theatre Awards Beauty Looks

The 2019 Evening Standard Theatre Awards beauty looks showed the different hair and makeup styles that work with glitzy and sequined gowns. Some celebrities went for understated glamour while others made stronger statements.

Naomi Scott

Naomi Scott beautifully complemented her sequined crop top and skirt with smoked-out pinky burgundy eyeshadow and glossy pale pink lipstick. Her dark hair was parted down the center and styled in a sleek updo.

Poppy Delevingne

Poppy Delevingne went natural, allowing her champagne sequined gown to be the focal point. Natural makeup with a hint of apricot lip gloss and straight, side-parted hair made up her easy glam beauty look.

Jourdan Dunn

Jourdan Dunn is a hair chameleon. For the event, she showed off a tousled ponytail complete with straight wispy bangs. Her long eyelashes complemented her fringe. Matte neutral lipstick completed the no-makeup makeup effect.

Ellie Bamber

Ellie Bamber’s blonde bob was parted on a slight diagonal with tousled ends. She too opted for a natural makeup look, but carried off a touch of shimmer on the eyes.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw

Gugu Mbatha-Raw evoked classic sophistication with her red lipstick and mascaraed lashes. Her wet-look twisted topknot modernized the look.

Ella Balinska

Ella Balinska wore a different variation on a bun updo. Her dark locks were parted down the middle and the lengths were styled in a soft high bun. Dramatic eyelashes and winged gold and bronze eyeshadow made the eyes the main focus. Barely-there pink lipstick juxtaposed the metallic eyes.
